Patrons Pathway
Order YOUR Commemorative Bricks Now For the SOH Patrons Pathway

Patrons and friends of the Smyrna Opera House are invited to purchase an engravable paver brick for the walkway leading to the entrance of the SOH. These bricks may be engraved with commemorative messages, family names, or memorial tributes. For a gift of $100, a donor may request up to three lines with up to 16 letters and/or spaces per line. After being engraved, the bricks will be permanently installed in the Patrons Pathway for present and future visitors to the SOH to admire. Please click on the brick to purchase your brick today!

Smyrna High School Senior Art Show
The Smyrna Opera House and Smyrna High School Art Department are proud to announce the 2013 Annual Senior Art Show. Viewing hours are 10am-4pm on Tuesday through Friday. A closing reception will be held on May 21 from 6-8 at the Smyrna Opera House. The Art Department’s graduating students will come together to showcase their talents that include charcoal and pencil drawings, pottery, mixed media and digital art. Five of the participating students are awarding winning artists. The Smyrna High School Art Program is extremely proud of our students and wishes to share their talent with our community.

Criminal Minds - The Inside Story!
An Evening with Erica Messer, Executive Producer and Writer for Criminal Minds

Enjoy this rare opportunity to learn how this hit tv show is created from one of the genius minds on the production team! Originally from the Eastern Shore area, Erica Messer has been with the show from the start, beginning as a writer and now working as the Executive Producer and Writer. Erica will explain the episode design process and share some of her amazing experiences dealing with the bizarre subject matter that makes the show so popular. Evening includes a question and answer session as well as door prizes!

An Afternoon of Classical Chamber Music: Smyrna Alumni Concert

Smyrna High School Alumni return to perform an afternoon of chamber music from baroque to modern, beloved masterpieces and undiscovered gems. These recently graduated students return to their hometown as outstanding performers sharing their musical gifts on varied instruments. It will also feature the world premiere of a newly composed piece by Smyrna alum Alex Marthaler.

July 15th - 26th
SOH Summer Theater Camp

Under the direction of Jim McGuigan camp focuses on the basics of acting: projection, staging, singing, characterization and improvisation. This year’s theater camp begins on July 15 and concludes July 26 with a final “assessment show” that same evening at 7 p.m. Sign up soon – space is limited!

Ages 8-15.
