Piano Lessons by Jessica Cantillon – Saturday Morning Classes
Section 1: Age 7 - 13 years, 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Section 2: Age 14 and up, 10:00 am - 11:00 am
(Class Dates - Feb 7, 14, 21, 28, Mar 7, 14)
$80 per six-week course.
On the stage of the B. Stimson Carrow Auditorium.
This course is for beginners who have no musical background. Basic technique will be covered. This course is designed to help the student determine if he/she wants to commit to private lessons. Classes are taught in a group setting, maximum of 4 students per section. Students are required to purchase a lesson book, available for purchase during the first class (Section 1 book is $4.99 and Section 2 book is $9.00). Please bring a notebook and pencil to class.

Introduction to Guitar!!
Piano Lessons by Mr. Jim Rezac – Sunday Morning Classes
Section 1: Age 8 - 12 years, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Section 2: Age 13 and up, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
(Class Dates - Feb 8, 15, 22, Mar 1, 8, 15)
$80 per six-week course.
In the third floor gallery.
This course will focus on getting comfortable with the guitar, reading chord charts, playing about 10 basic chords, and using them in well-known (and useful) chord progressions, basic strumming patterns, and playing a few well-known songs. Maximum of 6 students per section.

"Arabian Nights"

A full evening of entertainment and fun with music by The Glass Onion, live and silent auctions, hearty hors d’oeuvres, open bar until 11:30 p.m. and dancing, lots of dancing! Our biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds from the Arts Cotillion benefit the Smyrna Opera House. Patrons Pathway
Order YOUR Commemorative Bricks Now For the SOH Patrons Pathway

Patrons and friends of the Smyrna Opera House are invited to purchase an engravable paver brick for the walkway leading to the entrance of the SOH. These bricks may be engraved with commemorative messages, family names, or memorial tributes. For a gift of $100, a donor may request up to three lines with up to 16 letters and/or spaces per line. "Songwriters and Storytellers"
Join us for an incredible night of music and storytelling by Nashville Music Hall of Fame writer Thom Schuyler, hit songwriter Craig Bickhardt and local favorite singer/songwriter Sol Knopf.

Thom Schuyler's songs have been recorded by over 200 various artists. His accomplishments are many and his golden touch shines through on memorable hits like “Love Will Turn You Around” by Kenny Rogers, “16th Avenue” (made popular by Lacy J. Dalton) and many others.

In the 1980's Thom founded the trio S-K-O (Originally known as Schuyler, Knobloch & Overstreet). and charted 7 singles including the Number 1 hit “Baby's Got a New Baby”.

Throughout the years Thom Schuyler has touched many lives, not only as an incredible writer, but as chairman of the Country Music Association and as the head of RCA Records' Nashville division. In that position, Thom played a significant role in signing Kenny Chesney, Lonestar, Martina McBride and Sara Evans.

Thom's songs will touch you down deep and his quick wit will leave you smiling long after the show is over.

Craig Bickhardt's songs have been recorded by legends like BB King, Johnny Cash, Martina McBride, The Judds, Allison Krauss and many more. He has penned four #1 hits and nine top ten hits. Craig is a passionate performer, virtuoso guitar player and fabulous singer. He too, has some of the funniest stories to share about his 2 decades plus as one of Nashville's top writers. But most of all, it is the humanity of Craig's songs and the brilliant crafting of his lyrics that will leave you in awe of his talent.

Sol Knopf is a local Delaware favorite known for his distinctive baritone voice and timeless original songs. In 2014 Sol's “My Baby Girl” became one of the most requested father/daughter dance songs at weddings across the United States. His YouTube music video for the song has already exceeded 400,000 views bringing him new fans from all over the world.
